Nordberg® NP15™ HSI crusher is the middle-sized model in the new range of Nordberg® NP Series™ HSI crushers built for the secondary and tertiary crushing stages.
Nordberg® NP15™ HSI crusher uses the same design as smaller Nordberg® NP13™ and larger Nordberg® NP20™ crusher.
High performance
Nordberg® NP15™ HSI crusher has been engineered to allow increased feed material penetration to the rotor. Thanks to steeper design, the discharge curve is less sensitive to blow bar wear, which enables producing more consistent end products without changing the blow bars.
In addition to increased feed material intake capacity, Nordberg® NP15™ HSI crusher’s maximum power has been upgraded to 355 kW (450 hp) on a single drive to improve productivity.
Reduced plant operating costs
Metso IC™ crusher automation can be used with Nordberg® NP15™ HSI crusher. The automation system increases long-term profitability by allowing better control of the crusher and giving a more accurate view of crusher’s performance.
The automatic setting calibration also enables adjusting the crusher and, for example, controlling the discharge curve, even with more abrasive materials.
Configured for your needs
Nordberg® NP15™ HSI crusher has a wide selection blow bars, which makes it possible to pick the right tool for the required application, regardless of the abrasiveness of processed material.
You can choose for example blow bars made of manganese, martensitic steel or chromium iron – or take a combination with ceramic inserts.
Easy maintenance
Nordberg® NP15™ HSI crusher has an advanced two-part rear frame. The new frame has a larger opening and better access to the breaker plates during wear part replacement.
A new breaker plate cassette, on the other hand, has a removable assembly that allows an easy and safe breaker plate liner change outside the crusher.
The new maintenance bridge gives you safer and easier access to the rotor, while changing blow bars, and to the side liners – also to the ones located the highest.
Nordberg® NP15™ HSI crusher’s patented Self-Rotor Rotation system (S.R.R.) is the central point for adjusting settings and changing blow bars that further increases operator safety.
