MEKA stationary concrete batching plants for precast applications are being designed individually according to the machines, site conditions, buildings and required production capacities. With maximum efficiency and reliability for producing all types of high quality concretes, colored and low slump mixes MEKA offers mixer capacities from 0,33 m³ up to 2,0 m³. Precast plants are available with a variety of options and can be configured to meet each client’s individual needs.

We don’t only develop the batching plant itself, but offer a complex solution including concrete distribution, flying buckets, crane systems and individual requests.

PRECAST and READY-MIX SIMULTANEOUSLY

  • In general, precast concrete batching plants tend to be higher due to precast machine height, concrete transfer buckets and other precast-related parameters. MEKA is offering different options for implementing ready-mixed concrete manufacturing options to precast solutions.

OPTION FOR BUILT-IN CONTROL CABIN

  • Control cabin on MB-60W/WS concrete plants can be located on the main chassis, which allows for better inspection of concrete discharge area, belt condition or skip location and aggregate bin condition.

HIGH ACCURACY

  • In most precast applications the mixture volume is determined by the volume of the precast mold. Since ready-mix automation software is designed for speed and the correction of minor deviations is being planned in the next batches, it is not quite suitable for single batch precast applications where high accuracy in every batch is essential. Highly configurable specially designed built-in options in MEKA automation system together with special high accuracy weighing PLC add-on cards allow accurate operation in any precast application.

MEKA COUNTERCURRENT PLANETARY MIXERS

  • In precast applications, especially in colored concrete, homogeneity of the mix is an important requirement. Mixing low slump mixes is a hard job and this is where MEKA Planetary mixers shine at their best. Unlike Ready-mix, Planetary mixers are unmatched in low slump mixing allowing 100% load of the mixer volume. They also allow a much faster mixing up to 100% after common 85% is reached. Wide range of capacities – 0,33 / 0,5 / 1,0 / 1,5 / 2,0 m³ cover almost all capacity ranges of common precast molds.

CONCRETE TRANSFER SYSTEMS

  • MEKA rail based fast moving and maintenance free concrete transfer buckets with capacities of 0,5 / 1,0 / 2,0 m³ allow the delivery of the concrete through the precast factory areas. Belt transfer options are also available.

EASE OF ACCESS AND SERVICE

  • Wide platforms allow easy and safe access to the main parts of the mixer and the weighing hoppers. Includes the upper platform for the service of the scales.

BLENDING HOPPER

  • High-Quality blending can be achieved with additional blending hopper. Micro feeder ensures precise pigment dosing for color consistency. Hoppers can hold up to 4 different colors.

Radial Or Shuttle Conveyor Aggregate Feeding Systems

  • In order to reduce the cost for building a one-side feeding ramp we have developed aggregate feeding systems which allow easy aggregate feeding without any extra costs for foundation or ramp.

  • Cladding: MEKA offers sandwich panel or steel sheet cladding options.
  • Steam Generators: Steam generators start to provide steam in short period of time comparing to steam boilers. Different types of fuel are available.
