Overhaul Parts / Solutions

1) Piston Pump : The piston pumps have been designed with a superior structure to provide adequate reliability and durability to meet the severe working conditions required of construction equipment. The following piston pump series is available.
2) Gear Pump : The gear pumps are superior in quality and durability. The gear pumps are divided into models SAL (R), FAL (R), and SBL (R) with discharge volumes ranging from 0.79 to 250 (cc/rev).

Hydraulic Hoses

There is big difference in quality between genuine and will-fit hose. Komatsu has over 20,000 PNs in our hydraulic hose data base and Engineer select hose to meet machine performance and specification. Local hose manufacturer produce hose only by visual inspection of Komatsu hoses. They can’t identify even product pressure if hoses have guarding and is deteriorated.
As the worst case, their product can’t meet our working pressure and it may burst soon after replacement.

Hydraulic Cylinder Seals

The hydraulic cylinder kit basically contains O-rings, piston rings, wear rings, rod packing, buffer rings, backup rings, and dust seals.
The piston has piston rings and wear rings, the piston rod has O-rings and backup rings, and the cylinder head has rod packing, buffer rings, O-rings, backup rings, and dust seals. The seal kit consists of all the O-rings and seals needed when rebuilding hydraulic cylinders.

Floating Seal

Komatsu’s floating seal has unique patented characteristics in terms of the manner of contact between seals in order to prevent dirt from entering the inside of the final drive. Furthermore, hardness metal is used and a special hardening process is employed to increase the hardness of the seal.

EO15W40-DH

Komatsu-genuine DH-1 series engine oil features outstanding levels of wear prevention, high-temperature oxidation stability, piston deposit and soot control based on Komatsufs own stringent specifications with the new addition of the JASO DH-1 standard. As a result, the new engine oil will extend the product life of engines and hydraulic components and reduce mechanical trouble as well as the consumption of engine oil and fuel. Komatsu believes that this new, high-quality oil will help customers reduce their total operating costs and facilitate their environmental conservation efforts.

HO46 – HM

Komatsu HO46 – HM Hydraulic Oil is formulated from high-quality mineral oils, it protects the hydraulic system on Komatsu machines against wear in a wide range of climates. And prevents rust and corrosion and reduces foaming and has a long life due to its excellent thermal stability and oxidation resistance.

TO10 and TO30

The additive technology is designed to provide noted oxidation stability, anti-wear protection, and mild extreme pressure protection. Komatsu Powertrain Oils provide optimized friction retention for extended clutch life and slippage control under severe high load application. They are for use in Komatsu equipment transmissions, drive trains, swing machinery and hydraulic systems. Komatsu Powertrain Oils may also be used in many competitive brands of equipment requiring the use of an API CF quality oil.

EP leithium Grease GT-LI

Komatsu Genuine Lithium EP Grease contains an extreme-pressure agent to withstand the high surface pressures of pins and bushes in construction machines . High performance in a variety of applications including heavy equipment high speed ball & roller bearings, wet or damp conditions, disc brake wheel bearings, particularly operating in extreme temperatures.

Hyper Grease G2-TE

Komatsu Hyper Grease G2-TE is the ultimate lubricant for performance challenging on and off highway environments. Komatsu Hyper Grease G2-TE’s unique multifunctional solid lubricant additive builds tack and adhesion when exposed to water saturated environments. Not only does Komatsu Hyper Grease G2-TE resist softening and washing out, it grows in tack and adhesion with continued exposure. Its environmental impact is reduced by not including Antimony, Barium, Lead, or Chlorinated Compounds.

Super Coolant

Komatsu Super Coolant is designed with advanced technology which provides superior protection to all parts of the cooling system. Komatsu coolant/antifreeze is specifically formulated to meet the high expectations and superior quality standards of Komatsu machines. The coolant/antifreeze provides long life protection from corrosion, cavitation and other possible problems.

Air Filters

Clean air is essential to sustained high performance and engine reliability. An air filter is the first line of defence for any machine. An inefficient air filter will allow dust into the combustion chambers, reducing performance and causing serious and expensive wear to cylinders and piston rings. Komatsu genuine filters are designed specifically to provide long life and reliable engine protection as well as maximize machine performance in construction and mining applications.

Oil Filters

If there is any dirt or water in oil, abnormal wear and corrosion results. Functions of engine oil are to lubricate, clean, cool and seal the rotating and sliding parts such as cylinder, Engine oil filter removes dirt and moisture from oil to maintain oil’s performance that effects to good engine performance and maximized the engine life. Komatsu oil filters are designed to meet each engine’s specific needs.

PRE FUEL FILTER

As water in fuel could cause problems like seizure or rust on supply pump and injector, the water must be removed from fuel. Fuel pre filter removes relatively large and middle size dust and water prior to fuel main filter in fuel circuit.

MAIN FUEL FILTER

Komatsu machines are the most fuel efficient in the world. To deliver this performance, the clearances in the supply pumps and injectors are measured in microns. These pumps and injectors operate at extremely high pressures. Because of these extremely tight tolerances, the invasion of water and dust into the fuel system must be controlled more strictly. Komatsu fuel filters provide that control and are designed specifically for Komatsu engines.

Hydraulic Filters

Many types of dust goes into hydraulic circuit from hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic tank breather. In addition, dust is generated by wear of inner assemble parts of hydraulic component.
Generally, over 70% of problem in hydraulic component is caused by dust or contamination. With the advancement in machine technology, hydraulic pressure became higher. Therefore the clearance and tolerance of hydraulic component became tighter and as a result, contamination control of hydraulic circuit is extremely important.
Hydraulic filter for breaker:
When using the hydraulic breaker, more smaller dust can enter the hydraulic circuit. In order to prevent failures hydraulic circuit and PPC circuit are equipped with an additional return filter, Replacement intervals for these filters and hydraulic oil differ by model. Refer to the operation & maintenance manual for more information.

Powertrain Filters

Type of power line filter for each model and component are as followings.

1- Transmission filter (for Bulldozer, Dump truck, wheel loader)
2- Torque converter filter (for bull dozer)
3- Brake oil filter (for Dump truck, Wheel loader)
4- Transmission, brake cooling filter (for Dump truck)

There are mainly two types of filter, one is center bolt type fixed by bot and replacement part is only element. Other one is spin-on type and replacement method is similar to fuel and engine oil filter replacing whole cartridge. Both filter uses multi fiber filtration paper that has a better capability for capturing dust and a longer replacement interval.

Air Conditioner (AC) Filters

Komatsu machines are equipped with two types of air conditioner filter. Fresh air filter is filtering the dirty air entering from outside of cabin. It helps keep a clean & comfortable breathing condition in operator cabin. Recirculated air filter is used for the air already in cabin. Both filters capture soot, diesel particulates and dust.
