Lokotrack® LT7150™ mobile VSI crusher is typically operated in a multistage crushing process in the third or fourth stage. It is built around proven Barmac® B Series™ vertical shaft impact (VSI) crushing unit– Opens in a new window, producing cubical end products that are used, for example, in concrete, asphalt and groundwork materials.

Lokotrack® LT7150™ mobile crushing plant makes use of so called rock-on-rock crushing where the rocks break against each other after the rotor continuously discharges them into the crushing chamber. The particle exit-velocities range between 45–70 m/s (150–230 ft/s). The VSI crusher runs with a direct hydraulic motor, eliminating the need for V-belts. This allows tip speed to be fully adjustable from the automated control panel.

Metso’s Orange Series Rotor is a user-friendly and cost-effective solution for the VSI crushers. Uptime can be significantly increased through shorter maintenance breaks and the longer life of wear parts.

Large feed hopper, efficient CAT® engine

Lokotrack® LT7150™ has a large feed hopper, so it can be fed by a conveyor, excavator or wheel loader. The efficient CAT® diesel engine meets the latest emission requirements.

Optimum crushing results

The Metso IC™ process control system optimizes crushing results. It allows one-button start and stop, with built-in troubleshooting and a variety of parameter selections. All Lokotrack® mobile crushers in the same crushing process can be connected to the Metso IC™ system.
